Bengaluru, May 11 (Reporter) The Karnataka unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday organised a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Bengaluru to express solidarity with the Indian armed forces in the wake of Operation Sindoor.
The rally witnessed participation from Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, and several senior party leaders and workers.
Addressing the media, Karandlaje condemned Pakistan for its alleged role in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, stating that innocent civilians were killed after being asked about their religion.
“India is fighting terrorism. Pakistan sent terrorists to Pahalgam. Innocent people were killed after being asked about their religion. The Government of India and our jawans retaliated. Today, we have to stand united with the country. A message that we stand united with the country has to be sent across. We stand with the country, with the Government, with the armed forces. We stand with you,” she declared.
Karandlaje further criticised Pakistan’s repeated violations of ceasefire and export of terrorism, saying, “Pakistan is not a trustworthy country. It has proven again and again that it can violate ceasefire at any time. Pakistan sends terrorists to other countries. They are not exporting any technology, just terrorists. So, the world is against them.”
