<p>Shimla, July 23 (Reporter) The South West Monsoon has intensified over the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, bringing very heavy rainfall to Dharamshala, the home of Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, the weatherman said on Tuesday. Kangra received 151.8 mm rainfall since Monday.<br /> <br /> The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hydromet Division, has issued an advisory highlighting the risk of surface runoff and inundation in downstream areas due to the excessive rainfall.<br /> <br /> An Orange alert has been sounded for Tuesday, warning residents of potential disruptions in road, water, and power supplies. <br /> <br /> Significant rainfall has been recorded across the district, with Kangra receiving 151.8 mm, Dharamshala 136.6 mm, and Palampur 112.4 mm.
