Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has emphasied that maintaining environmental cleanliness is a collective responsibility. He said that a clean environment is essential for the health and prosperity of every citizen in the state. He instructed all departments to take effective steps for environmental protection through coordination and cooperation. Special attention must be given to water and air purity, as the overall cleanliness of the environment depends on these two elements. CM Dr. Yadav was addressing a review meeting on the activities of the Environment Department at the Mantralaya on Monday.
CM Dr. Yadav highlighted that Zoo and Rescue Centers are to be established in Ujjain and Jabalpur, urging authorities to expedite the work and complete it as soon as possible. He stressed that environmental purity ensures the safety of everyone’s life and this message must reach society responsibly. He emphasised that improving the environment is not just the government’s responsibility, society must also actively participate. Only joint efforts of the government and society can maintain a clean and protected environment. He also urged for the speedy completion of boating operations in large water bodies, similar to Dal Lake.
