New Delhi, Mar 30 (Reporter) Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) conducted a class VI test at Syed Abid Husain Sr. Secondary School here on Saturday. Over 8200 students who have applied for the test will be competing for 40 seats for admission to Syed Abid Husain Sr. Secondary School. The examination was conducted at 15 centers in JMI, and there was another center in Summer Fields School outside of JMI. The tentative date for the display of the list of selected students is April 15, 2024, and the admission of selected candidates is tentatively scheduled to begin from April 22 to April 25, 2024. Classes would begin on April 26th, 2024. The university administration had made elaborate arrangements for administering the exam at various centers. The officiating Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eqbal Husain himself, visited the centers to see the arrangements and the examination process. He was accompanied by senior officials from the university, including the officiating registrar, Mr. Hadis Lari, the chief proctor, and other officials.
