Jammu, Mar 2 (Reporter) Two minor girls died due to drowning in a water-filled trench in Bari Brahmana area of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir. Police sources here on Sunday said that two minor girls namely Asiya (10) and Tahira (9) were reportedly missing from Saturday evening when they were grazing animals in the Lower Birpur area of Bari Brahmana. Police sources said, "the girls belonged to nomadic families and hailing from Anantnag district in South Kashmir." "The bodies of girls were found in a ditch filled with rain water," they said adding that they might have accidentally fallen into the ditch and died due to drowning. "The bodies were shifted to the hospital in Vijaypur for post-mortem," said police adding that the matter is being investigated...////...
