Srinagar, Jan 11 (Reporter) An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted the Kashmir valley on Thursday, officials said. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured on a Richter scale of 6.0, with the epicenter at latitude 363.52 in the north and longitude 70.71 in the east. The tremors were felt in Srinagar and other parts of the Kashmir valley for a few seconds. The tremors were felt at 2.50 pm with a 192km depth north-east of the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
