J&K: SFs launch search op after contact established with terrorists in Poonch

Jammu, Apr 15 (Reporter) Security forces have launched a massive search operation after contact was established with terrorists in Surankote area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. Army in a post on X on Tuesday said contact was established with terrorists during a joint operation with J&K Police at Lasana, Surankote last night. "Additional troops have been inducted, and search operations are ongoing to prevent the terrorists from escaping," they said. Notably on Saturday, security forces in a joint operation had neutralised three terrorists in Chatroo area of Kishtwar. Meanwhile, an infiltration bid was also foiled in Sunderbani sector of Jammu in which one Junior Commissioned Officer lost his life...////...
