Srinagar, Dec 28 (Reporter) Police have booked an alleged drug peddler using the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotics Drugs Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act in Sopore sub-district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police said the notorious drug peddler identified as Muzafar Ahmad Marazi of Sofi Hamam Sopore was booked under PIT-NDPS Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority. “He has been taken into custody and is now being held in the District Jail Udhampur,” a police statement said.
