J&K Police attach property of Pak-based terror handler in Awantipora

Srinagar, Jan 7 (Reporter) Police have attached property of a Pakistan-based terror handler in the Awantipora sub-district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Police on Tuesday said that it had attached an immovable property consisting of 4 Marlas of land situated at Syedabad Pastoona Tral worth lakhs belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan identified as Mubashir Ahmad a resident of Syedabad Pastuna Tral. The action was taken under section 25 of UAPA Act, police said. "The property was identified as belonging to a terror handler during investigation/ inquiry conducted by Awantipora Police", they said. The Pak-based terrorist handler Mubashir Ahmad is allegedly involved in promoting and reviving terrorist activities by pushing in arms & ammunition for activating local terror networks.
