J&K Police arrests two drug peddlers in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 15 (Reporter) Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession in Srinagar. Police on Sunday said that a Police party of Urdu Bazar during checking at Budgeer Kawdara crossing arrested two drug peddlers and during their search about 16 grams of charas like substance and 210 gram of ganja like substance was recovered from their possession. The accused duo has been identified as Milad Bashir Bhat a resident of Dolipora Kawdara and Toyab Ahmad Shekh of Surnai Mohalla Kawdara. A case FIR No. 53/2024 under relevant sections of NDPS Act stands registered in PS M R Gunj and investigation into the matter has been initiated. Police appealed to the public to report any instances of drug peddling or other criminal activities that they may witness in their surroundings or can reach out to the nearest police station or call 112 to share information...////...
