Srinagar, Apr 28 (Reporter) At least one person died and several others are missing when a passenger cab skidded off the road and rolled down to river Sind in the tourist resort of Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday. Three passengers were also rescued during the operation. “One body has been retrieved from the river Sind”, police said and added, “the rescue operation is going on”. Reports said that there were nine persons including the driver in the vehicle when it fell into the gushing waters of river Sindh at Gagangir Sonamarg in Srinagar-Ladakh highway. Three passengers have been rescued while five are still missing. The rescued persons have been shifted to a nearby health facility for treatment.
