J&K: Militants kill two non-local workers in Ganderbal district

Srinagar, Oct 20 (Reporter) At least two non-local workers were killed by suspected militants in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district Sunday evening, official sources said. Sources said the unidentified gunmen shot at and killed two non-local labourers working at a tunnel project in Gagangeer Sonmarg this evening. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, they said. Police and security forces have rushed to the spot. This is the second targeted attack on non-locals in Kashmir in the last three days. On October 18, Ashok Chouhan,(30), hailing from the Banka district of Bihar, was shot dead by unidentified militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.
