J&K: Fire damages 2 residential houses, 2 cow sheds in Kulgam

Srinagar, Sep 23 (Reporter) At least two residential houses and two cow sheds were gutted in a major fire incident that broke out in the Kulgam district of south Kashmir, officials said. The Fire and Emergency officials said that fire broke out late Sunday evening in a house at village Ashmuji area and engulfed another nearby house causing extensive damage to two 2-storey residential houses and two cowsheds. Many fire tenders were rushed from the nearby fire stations to douse the leaping flames, they said. However, there was no report of any loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident.
