Srinagar, April 28 (Reporter) Three people, including two women, died and three others are missing after a passenger cab skidded off the road in Sonamarg, central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Sunday. At least three people, including two women, died and three others are missing when a passenger cab skidded off the road and rolled down into the river Sind at the tourist resort of Sonamarg in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday. Three passengers were also rescued during the operation; among them, one seriously injured was shifted to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institution of Medical Science (SKIMS) Soura in Srinagar for treatment, traffic police said. They said there were nine people, including the driver, in the vehicle when it fell into the gushing waters of the river Sindh at Gagangir Sonamarg on the Srinagar-Ladakh highway. Three dead bodies, including two women, have been retrieved from the Nallah River so far. The identity of the dead and other passengers is yet to be ascertained, they said.
