Chandigarh/New Delhi, Aug 27 (Reporter) Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) on Tuesday announced
to contest Haryana Assembly Elections in alliance with Chandrashekhar Azad's Azad Samaj Party (ASP).
The announcement was made at a press conference in New Delhi by former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and MP Chandrashekhar Azad.
Accordingly, JJP will be contesting on 70 seats and ASP on 20 seats of the 90-member assembly. The elections are scheduled for October 1.
Notably, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has already finalised the pact with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Ruling BJP is also contesting assembly elections in alliance with Haryana Lokvikas Party of Gopal Kanda, who with two MLAs had announced unconditional support to Manohar Lal government after the BJP fell short of simple majority in 2019 assembly elections.
However, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), who had contested Loksabha elections held two months back under the INDIA alliance, have decided to go solo this time...////...
