Patna, Apr 10 (Reporter) RJD on Thursday alleged that JD(U) Muslim leaders were propagating lies on Waqf that no suggestion for Amendment in Waqf bill was made by the party before the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). Chief Spokesman of RJD Shakti Singh Yadav told media persons here that JD(U) Muslim leaders were propagating lies among the people that there was no suggestion made by his party before JPC regarding Amendment in Waqf board bill. In reality, RJD had made 18-point suggestions before the JPC regarding the Amendment in the board bill and in Patna, he had himself presented views of RJD before the committee strongly, he added. " Waqf board amendment bill was nothing but an attempt of Narendra Modi government to usurp property of the board across the country", RJD leader said adding that representative from other communities were being accommodated earlier in Waqf board and there was nothing new in the bill which had now taken the shape of act. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had lost the secular face after his support to Waqf Board Amendment Bill in parliament , he pointed out. " If you trace the track record of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, you will find that he has always been supporting BJP against the interest of minority community", RJD leader said adding that JD(U) had supported NRC and Citizenship Amendment Act in parliament as well.
