Jammu, Feb 29 (Reporter) The Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier on Thursday felicitated border dwellers for timely information on drone and anti-national activities close to the international border. As per official communiqué, Inspector General BSF Jammu D K Boora and SSP Samba Vinay Kumar felicitated Bhagwan Das of the village- Nandpur, Ramgarh, Samba, who informed the nearest BSF troops on seeing a drone lying in his agricultural land. The BSF troops subsequently recovered the Pak drone from the field. In recognition of his swift action, IG BSF appreciated the villagers for providing timely information on drones and anti-national activity noticed by them. The officials felicitated him with a reward of Rs 3,00,000/- at a function held at Baba Chamliyal Shrine, in the Ramgarh area of Samba district.. Villagers of Chani Fatwal, Chak Nazir, Nandpur, Pindi, Dug, Abtal, and Kaku-Da-Kotha, along with School children were present at the function.
