Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the brave Rani Durgavati not only defeated Akbar’s army thrice but also made many innovations in the field of good governance and water management.She provided a people-oriented governance system to the region. The flyover passing through Jabalpur Airport and Madan Mahal will be known after Rani Durgavati. The state government will also try to get permission from the Government of India for a stadium in the name of Rani Durgavati in the Garh. Ponds and water structures in the area will also be renovated on priority basis as a tribute to her bravery and valour. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Akbar’s era was a difficult one, on one hand Maharana Pratap was fighting with him and on the other hand, the brave Rani Durgavati fought against Akbar’s army in Vananchal. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the program organized in Jabalpur on the Balidan Divas of Rani Durgavati.
