Dehra, July 3 (Reporter) Holding Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu's "dictatorship" for foisting the upcoming by-polls on the people, Leader of the Opposition Jairam Thakur on Wednesday accused him of doing "injustice" to the erstwhile independent MLAs, who have now quit and are fighting the by-election on BJP tickets. "Instead of asking us, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu should himself tell why these by-elections are being held. why did he create such circumstances that his own party MLAs were forced to revolt against him and his party ?" said Thakur, a former state chief minister. He alleged that the by-elections being held in the state are the result of the Chief Minister's "dictatorship", due to which three independent MLAs resigned from their membership. The Leader of the Opposition further asked why Sukhu did "injustice" to the independent MLAs. "Why were independent MLAs forced to support the government every time?" he wondered, while addressing public meetings in the Dehra constituency ahead of the by-poll.
