Israeli FM calls for IRGC to be designated terrorist organisation

Jerusalem, July 7 (Reporter) Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz called for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to be included in the list of terrorist organisations following the presidential election held in Iran earlier this week. "The people of Iran have sent a clear message of demand for change and opposition to the Ayatollah regime through the elections. Now the world must designate the IRGC as a terrorist organisation and demand the cancellation of the nuclear programme and the cessation of support for terrorist organisations. This is the only chance to realise the change," Katz said on X on Saturday. On Saturday, Iranian election headquarters spokesman Mohsen Eslami said that Masoud Pezeshkian won the second round of the snap presidential election in Iran.
