Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that ISKCON has played a significant global role in spreading the message of Lord Shri Ram, Lord Krishna, and Indian culture across the world. He was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of the ISKCON temple in village Mainpani, Sagar district, virtually from the NIC room at the Ujjain Collectorate. Dr. Yadav remarked that the Bundelkhand region is a land deeply rooted in the ideals of Gopal Krishna.During the event, the Chief Minister virtually laid the foundation stone for the grand ISKCON temple to be constructed in the scenic hills of Mainpani, at an estimated cost of ₹50 crore. MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluhera was also present in the NIC room in Ujjain.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that ISKCON International has played a pivotal role in disseminating the teachings and ideals of Lord Krishna both in India and across the world. He emphasized that every word spoken by Lord Krishna, compiled in the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita, carries timeless wisdom, and ISKCON has been instrumental in bringing this knowledge to the people.Dr. Yadav further remarked that on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the rising of the sun of Sanatan culture in Sagar district holds special significance. He noted that Bundelkhand, the land of great warriors and saints, will witness a harmonious confluence of the life events of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna through such spiritual initiatives.
