New Delhi, Apr 8 (Reporter) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has once again questioned the neutrality of the Election Commission, reiterating that no complaints had been filed against the BJP regarding objectionable content used in their election campaign.
In a social media post on X today, Atishi said, “More than 3 days have passed since AAP filed a complaint with the Election Commission regarding objectionable content being used by BJP. However, no notice has been issued to BJP.”
She further questioned, “Is it now ECI’s policy to issue notices only to opposition parties?”
Notably, Atishi has questioned the neutrality of the Election Commission of India (ECI) on several occasions and urged it to ensure a 'non-partisan' election process.
Yesterday, she posted that on April 6 at around 11:30 am, her party filed a complaint with the Election Commission against the objectionable hoardings that had been put up by BJP across Delhi.
“It has been more than 24 hours, but ECI has not issued any notice to BJP. Is notice only issued when BJP files complaints?” she questioned.
The AAP leader also alleged that the Election Commission has become a subsidiary unit of the BJP after a show cause notice was issued to her by the EC following a complaint from the BJP...////...
