Iran urges UNSC to convene emergency meeting to address situation in Lebanon

United Nations, Sep 29 (Reporter) Tehran calls on the UN Security Council to convene an emergency meeting on the situation in Lebanon as a result from the recent Israeli actions, the Iranian Mission to the UN said in a statement. "Iran calls on the Security Council to convene an emergency meeting to address Israel’s terrorist aggression and the continuous atrocities perpetrated by the warmongering Israeli regime in Lebanon and across the region," the statement says.
