New Delhi, Mar 3 (Reporter) The 16th convocation ceremony of IP University is scheduled to be held on March 5th at the Dwarka campus. The event will be presided over by the Chancellor of the University and the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Vinay Kumar Saxena. B.V.R. Subrahmanyam, the Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, will be the chief guest for the occasion and will deliver the convocation address. The Education Minister of Delhi, Atishi, and the Chief Secretary of Delhi, Naresh Kumar, will be guests of honour. Alice Vaz R., Secretary of the Higher Education Department of Delhi, will also be a distinguished guest at the event. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Padmashri Prof. Dr. Mahesh Verma, will present the university report on this occasion. As per the Controller of Examinations of the University, Prof. Gulshan Kumar, a total of 24,708 students will be awarded degrees at this event. Among them, 77 students will be awarded gold medals. One student will be awarded the B.P. Joshi Gold Medal in memory of the late B.P. Joshi, former registrar of the University. The Siddharth Khitolia Award will also be presented to a deserving student. A Silver Jubilee Postal Stamp, First Day Cover, Silver Jubilee Book, and a memorable coin will also be released at this event...////...
