Mumbai, May 6 (Reporter) Internet of Things technology will bring dynamism to various government services and increase efficiency as well as help improve the quality of life of citizens, asserted Ravindra Deshpande, System Integration expert of NASSCOM, on Tuesday.
The General Administration Department is implementing the initiative “Tech Wari: Maharashtra Tech Learning Week” to create a training culture among administrative officers and employees.
Under this initiative, Deshpande guided on the topic of ‘Internet of Things’.
He said that Internet of Things is based on internet service and through it a task can be completed by keeping real-time monitoring.
Internet of Things technology can be used for traffic management, water planning, road maintenance and repair, parking lot planning, waste management, public safety system, etc., in smart cities.
Similarly, the Internet of Things technology is being widely used in agriculture and industrial sectors, he added.
