INLD, BSP join hands for Haryana Assembly elections

Chandigarh, July 11 (Reporter) With the Haryana Assembly Elections a couple of months away, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Thursday announced an alliance to contest elections jointly. The announcement was made in a press conference at Chandigarh. INLD Secretary General and Elanabad MLA Abhay Singh Chautala said the alliance has the sanction of BSP Chief Mayavati and INLD National President Om Prakash Chautala. He tweeted that the alliance's objective was to ensure the progress of marginalised sections and farmers and protect their rights. Mayavati, in a series of tweets, said the BSP and INLD would fight with the pledge of defeating anti-people parties in the coming assembly elections and form a new coalition government...////...
