IndiGo plane hits bird, makes emergency landing at Patna Airport

Patna, July 9 (Reporter) An IndiGo Airlines flight (6E 5009) from Patna to Delhi, made an emergency landing today at Patna Airport when a bird hit the aircraft shortly after takeoff. Director of Patna Airport K.M. Mehra confirmed the incident, saying that soon after Flight 6E 5009 took off from Patna Airport around 8:45 AM, the pilot noticed vibrations in the aircraft and requested landing, following which an emergency landing was made.
