Indian national arrested for alleged match-fixing in Sri-Lanka T10 league

Colombo, Dec 13 (Reporter) An Indian national, owner of the 'Galle Marvels' team in the Lanka T10 Super League, has been arrested by the Special Police Unit for alleged match-fixing, media reports said. It was reported that the suspect offered money to a West Indian player participating in the Lanka T10 League in exchange for fixing a match, The Daily Mirror reported. The International Cricket Council (ICC) lodged a formal complaint with the Special Police Unit, prompting an investigation. A team from the unit travelled to Pallekele and arrested the Indian national in connection with the incident...////...
