Colombo, Sep 23 (Reporter) Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha met with Sri Lankan President-elect Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the National People's Power office in Battaramulla. The Indian High Commission in a post on 'X, said that Jha 'conveyed greetings from India’s leadership and congratulated him on winning the people’s mandate." The Indian High Commission also said that "India as Sri Lanka's s civilisational twin is committed to further deepen ties for the prosperity of the people of our two countries".
