Pune, June 3 (Reporter) The Indian Army obliterated Pakistan's plan of a 48-hour conflict in just eight hours during Operation Sindoor, said Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), on Tuesday.
Speaking on the topic “Future War and War” at Pune University here, he said that Operation Sindoor was an example of a war strategy in which kinetic and non-kinetic warfare skills were used.
Pakistan had made a 48-hour plan for conflict, but the Indian Army destroyed it in just eight hours only, he informed.
He said that during Operation Sindoor, war and politics were going on simultaneously, as war is not just an attack but is also a part of politics.
India had the advantage of having a good counter-drone system, he noted.
The CDS further said that Pakistan was ready for surrender at 1 am on May 10.
"We completed the 48-hour battle in eight hours only. After that, they called and said that they wanted to talk about this issue," he said.
"Our army is not affected by losses and failures. We should understand our mistakes and correct them and not retreat. In war, results are more important than losses," Chauhan added...////...
