Indian Administrative Service Officers are Continuously Working to Take Country Forward While Facing Every Challenge: CM Dr Yadav

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that Swami Vivekananda had believed that the 21st century would belong to India. Under the effective leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this dream of Vivekananda is now appearing to come true. At present, every country in the world wants friendship with India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India is now capable of facing every challenge and situation. On the strength of the role of Indian Administrative Service officers, India today stands firmly before the world. Our administrative officers are continuously working to take the country forward while facing every challenge. Amid India’s many diversities, this service today is discharging its responsibilities with strength and commitment.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing a programme organised at the Administrative Academy on the occasion of the inauguration of the Madhya Pradesh IAS Association Service Meet-2025. The Chief Minister inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. On the inaugural occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, retired officers and a large number of Indian Administrative Service officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre were present. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr Yadav was also presented with a memento.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that after country’s independence, an administrative system could be established as a result of the efforts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Administrative officers played an important role in transforming rule of kings into democracy in the country. India’s constitutional system is federal in nature, and within this framework, state officers have coordinated with the centre and states to build a better image of the state. Madhya Pradesh is like a laboratory, where continuous innovations have taken place in many fields, and several of these innovations are being followed across the country and the world. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Modi recognises the importance of competence and experience. As a result, even after retirement, experience of many officers continues to benefit governance. All administrative officers of the state deserve respect. It is a matter of happiness that all officers, like a family, find ways to overcome every difficulty together.

Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that the state’s senior officers rich in experience and young colleagues full of energy are the foundation of a developed and self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. He said that this is the time, along with policy making and implementation of schemes, to understand innovation, adopt technology and think from citizen’s perspective. The opportunity to serve comes to us by good fortune. Indian Administrative Service officers have earned this good fortune through hard work. In our culture, service to humanity is considered service to God. Highest priority should be given to resolving the difficulties of the common people, listening to their problems and providing meaningful solutions. Chief Minister Dr Yadav said that we must resolve to give our one hundred percent for the development of the state.

President of the Madhya Pradesh I.A.S. Association and ACS Shri Manu Shrivastava said that the service meet will deliberate on success of new ventures. Madhya Pradesh is a state that embraces everyone. The IAS officers of the state are continuously rendering services to take the state forward under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Yadav. The Madhya Pradesh IAS Association functions like a family. Organising Committee Chairman Shri P. Narhari said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Yadav, service work in the state is being carried out with full dignity.
