Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that a structured, science-based approach, encouragement of curiosity, and the adoption of advanced technologies have paved the way for India to be counted among the world's leading nations. He emphasized that this achievement has been made possible under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The state government is continuously striving to enhance the lives of ordinary citizens by maximizing the use of science in governance, education, and public administration.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed students and youth at an event organized at Vigyan Bhawan in Bhopal on National Science Day, based on the theme "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for a Developed India." He inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp and offering floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati. Prior to this, he also paid tribute to the great Nobel Prize-winning scientist, C.V. Raman, by garlanding his statue.
On the occasion of National Science Day, Dr. Yadav inaugurated the "Center of Excellence in STEM Education" at Vigyan Bhawan. During his visit, he observed various models and scientific equipment that help students easily understand different scientific principles. He also toured an exhibition showcasing scientific models and innovations created by students, engaging with them in discussions about their projects.
As part of the event, Dr. Yadav planted a tree under the "One Tree in the Name of Mother" initiative. He also interacted with progressive farmer Shri Puranlal Kushwaha from Tikamgarh, who demonstrated his innovative wind and water-powered irrigation pump.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Shri Ashok Kadel, Director of the Madhya Pradesh Hindi Granth Academy; Shri Shriram Tiwari, Director of Vikramaditya Research Institute and Cultural Advisor to the Chief Minister; and Dr. Anil Kothari, Director General of the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology.
