Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid a courtesy visit to Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri CR Patil at his office in Delhi today and discussed various issues. A detailed discussion was held in the meeting on river interlinking projects, especially the Ken-Betwa link project. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed Union Minister Shri Patil that Madhya Pradesh is playing a crucial role in the Nadi-Jodo campaign. He highlighted that, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh are collaboratively working on the Ken-Betwa Link Project, a groundbreaking initiative globally. This project will provide irrigation and drinking water to 10 districts in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. Despite its historical resistance to external rulers, Bundelkhand has faced resource challenges due to water scarcity. Dr. Yadav emphasized that the Ken-Betwa project, under Prime Minister Modi's guidance, aims to bring comprehensive development to this region.
