Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Veerangana Rani Durgavati's contribution is historic. Known for her bravery, she was skilled in leading battle. She consistently defeated the invaders. After winning 51 consecutive battles, her last battle was also inspiring, in which she ended her life by stabbing herself with a dagger instead of being killed by enemies. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the cabinet meeting will be held in the capital of Veerangana Rani Durgavati and various programmes will be organised at other places related to the life of Rani Durgavati. There is a fort of Singaurgarh near Singhrampur village in Damoh district. This area is recorded in history as the capital of Veerangana Rani Durgavati.
