Jammu, Dec 30 (Reporter) The Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) will be hosting a four-day Building Material Exhibition here
with an aim of transforming the construction industry with the latest building materials from all over the country under one roof.
The IIA J&K Chapter has been playing a major role in promoting the architectural profession in the Union territory by bringing the architects and allied business houses dealing with the construction industry on one platform.
The chapter has been organizing various activities like Building material exhibitions, symbiosis, and conferences, to increase awareness about the profession amongst the common masses.
The Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir has a functioning Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) J&K Chapter comprising of dedicated team having Vikas Dubey as Chairman, Vishal Abrol as Vice Chairman while other members are Anil Verma Joint Secretary, Harbinder Pal Singh, Joint Secretary, Sanjeev Mahajan, Treasurer, with nine executive members and two co-opted members.
Addressing a presser here, the members said that the present team has been working relentlessly for the promotion of the profession and simultaneous awareness among the masses.
"The entire team has once again joined hands together and has come up with building material exhibitions with the latest building materials from all over the country," they said adding that the exhibition will be held from January 3 to 6, 2025 having approximately 70 stalls with wide range of product display under one roof...////...
