IGL to set up CNG stations at upcoming Noida airport

New Delhi, Feb 12 (Reporter) Noida International Airport (NIA) has partnered with Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) to develop compressed natural gas (CNG) infrastructure at the upcoming airport. As part of the partnership, IGL will establish two CNG stations—one in the west precinct and the second one in the airside area—to cater to travellers, airport staff, and partners. In a media release on Wednesday, the airport company said that IGL will be responsible for the development of the City Gas Distribution (CGD) network at Noida International Airport, ensuring seamless connectivity to and from the CNG stations. The partnership also includes the establishment of a pipeline infrastructure for the supply of piped natural gas (PNG) to various F&B outlets, lounges, and kitchens in the terminal and ancillary airport buildings.
