Wear light-coloured, loose-fitting cotton clothing, sunglasses, and a hat or scarf to protect your head. Always carry water with you when travelling. If someone shows signs of heat stroke (such as high body temperature, dry skin, confusion, or unconsciousness), move them to a shaded or cool place immediately. One should lay the person down with their legs slightly elevated and use a fan to increase air circulation. Wipe their body with a cold, wet cloth or bathe them with cold water. If the person is conscious, provide cool water to drink. Do not give fluids if the person is unconscious or vomiting. Seek immediate medical assistance if the condition does not improve within an hour. Special care should be taken for vulnerable groups, and extra attention should be paid to children, pregnant women, the elderly, outdoor workers, and individuals with mental illnesses or disabilities. Ensure they stay hydrated and avoid exposure to heat. Animal Care: Keep pets and livestock in shaded areas and provide them with plenty of water. . General Advice: Avoid strenuous activities during peak heat hours. Postpone outdoor work and exercise if possible. Do not leave children or pets in parked cars, even for a short time.
