Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the State Government is working in complete synergy with the Central Government. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State is moving ahead with a firm resolve for progress. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the gathering after virtually inaugurating the three-day ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav’ at the ‘Madhya Pradesh Bhawan’ in New Delhi from Bhopal. He said, inviting everyone to the ‘Heart of India – Madhya Pradesh’, that the State is fully prepared to welcome visitors with warmth and openness. Additional Chief Secretary and Special Commissioner (Coordination), Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami, along with other officials, was present on this occasion in New Delhi.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed confidence that after witnessing the Madhya Pradesh Utsav, visitors would surely be inspired to experience the State’s natural beauty and rich biodiversity firsthand. He invited tourists to visit Mahakal Lok, enjoy safaris in the Tiger Reserves, experience the spiritual grandeur of Orchha and Mandu, and admire the pristine natural beauty of Pachmarhi. He also encouraged visitors to explore Indore, India’s cleanest city and relish its famous culinary delights.

The Residential Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami said after the inauguration that the main objective of the three-day festival is to familiarise the residents of Delhi–NCR with Madhya Pradesh, its cuisine and cultural heritage. She informed that the exhibition features stalls showcasing handicrafts, One District–One Product items, pottery, tourism, and more. She urged everyone to visit the festival and enjoy the State’s cuisine and culture, adding that entry to the festival is completely free.

On the first day of the festival, melodious performances by the Police Band, Kabir Gayan and Bundelkhand Gayan will be presented. During the cultural evening, Bundeli folk dance by Sushri Kamla Rajput (Chhatarpur), Gudumbbaja dance by Shri Lalulal Dhurve (Anuppur) and classical singing by Sushri Kalapini Komkali (Dewas) will offer audiences an experience of Madhya Pradesh’s deep cultural essence.

On the second day, drawing competitions, quizzes and the screening of the popular film Stree by MPTDC will attract both youth and families. The cultural evening will feature the Karma dance by Sushri Harsh Maravi (Dindori), the Gondwana folk dance by Shri Sanjay Mahajan (Barwah), and a fusion performance by the Swargandharva Band (Bhopal). This will be followed by a Khadi/Silk fashion show presenting a modern and magnificent display of Madhya Pradesh’s textile heritage.

On the third day, a fancy dress competition for children and a screening of the feature film ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ will be conducted by MPTDC. The cultural evening will include ‘Dastangoi’ by Sushri Bharti Dixit (Indore), the Matki folk dance by Sushri Hiramani Verma (Ujjain) and a vibrant dance-drama performance by Sushri Kshama Malviya (Bhopal). The festival will conclude with the felicitation of participants, marking an impressive and dignified closing ceremony.
