Chandigarh, Dec 23 (Reporter) Three persons, including a woman, were shot dead by unknown assailants in Panchkula of Haryana early Monday morning, police said. Police said the shooting incident took place at a hotel in Pinjore. A birthday party was going on when the incident occurred. The incident occurred around 2:00 am when unidentified assailants opened fire on the gathering, leaving two men and a woman dead. The deceased have been identified as Vicky and Vineet, both residents of Delhi, and a woman from Hisar. Police suspected it could be a targeted killing involving gang rivalry as one of the victims had ties to criminal activities.
