Chandigarh, Mar 2 (Reporter) Haryana police on Sunday announced setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in Congress activist Himani Narwal murder case. Himani's body was found in a suitcase near Sampla bus stand of Rohtak district on Saturday. Sampla Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rajneesh Kumar told the media that a SIT was formed to investigate the murder. He also said Himani's phone was found and cyber and forensic assistance was being sought to probe the case. Himani, who had been photographed with present Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi during his "Bharat Jodo Yatra", was pursuing LLB and living in Rohtak whereas her family was residing in New Delhi. Her mother Savita, while speaking to media on Sunday, said that they won't be performing the last rites until they got justice. She alleged that the party and elections might have cost her daughter's life. She said some people, who might be from the party or her friends, were jealous because of her growing proximity with influential leaders.
