Washington, Sep 8 (Reporter) US Vice President Kamala Harris is preparing for the upcoming September 10 debate against former US President Donald Trump, in particular, by holding a mock debate, with an ex-assistant to former secretary of State Hillary Clinton playing the role of Trump, NBC News reported on Saturday, citing sources familiar with the matter. Harris is currently in the midst of her five-day preparations at a Pittsburgh hotel, the report read. While preparing for her first debate in four years, the Democratic nominee is figuring out how to include details of her biography into her answers in order to introduce herself to the public, the sources said. Additionally, the vice president is preparing for the possibility that Trump might make offensive comments about her, the report added. The thorough preparation is due in part to the fact that some Harris advisers believe Trump performed better than usual in the June debate with President Joe Biden and thus do not want to underestimate the former president, the report said.
