Washington, Aug 6 (Reporter) US Vice President Kamala Harris told her supporters on Tuesday she chose Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her deputy for the 2024 presidential race run because he was a “battle-tested leader." "Tim is a battle-tested leader who has an incredible track record of getting things done for Minnesota families," Harris said in the message addressed to supporters. In the message, shared widely on social and news media, Harris said she trusted Walz to bring his "same principal leadership to our campaign, and to the office of the vice president." President Joe Biden posted a message on X in which he hailed Harris’ choice and called it a great decision.
