Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended the felicitation ceremony organized by Lokmanya Tilak Shikshan Samiti on Friday. Addressing the gathering, he said that the Lokmanya Tilak School campus represents a commitment to future development and serves as a vibrant center of nationalist thought.
Highlighting the importance of the term “Guru” instead of “Vice Chancellor” in universities, he emphasized that a guru is one who leads from darkness to light. "After parents, it is the guru who determines the direction of one’s life," he stated. Dr. Yadav also fondly recalled his experiences with the Vidyarthi Parishad during his time associated with Loti School.
MLA Shri Anil Jain Kaluheda and other distinguished citizens were present at the event. Shri Kishore Khandelwal delivered the welcome address, while the Chief Minister awarded prizes to meritorious students. Shri Khandelwal informed that this annual event is part of a three-day training camp organized for teachers, covering various educational themes. The school's staff also participated in the programme.
Dr. Yadav felicitated the top three students of Class 10, along with four students who won medals in national-level Mallakhamb competitions, wishing them a bright future.
The ceremony also saw the presence of Committee President Shri Kishore Khandelwal, Secretary Shri Vishwanath Soman, and Shri Girish Bhalerao, who conducted the programme. Shri Soman delivered the vote of thanks.
