Srinagar, Sep 13 (Reporter) A gunfight erupted in Jammu Kashmir's Baramulla district on late Friday, police said. The gunfight erupted at Chak Tapper Kreeri Pattan Tilwani Mohalla when a team of joint forces launched a cordon and search operation following an input about militant presence. “Encounter has started at Chak Tapper Kreeri Pattan area of Baramulla. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Police said in a post on X. Sources said additional forces have been rushed to the village to ensure a tight cordon.
