Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel on Thursday visited Thawarjodi village of Kurai development block in Seoni district to participate in Gram Introduction Program. Villagers gave a warm welcome to Governor with traditional Kalash Yatra and Gond dance. Governor Shri Patel distributed benefits to beneficiaries of various schemes. He distributed caste certificates to villagers, cheques under Cash Credit Link Scheme to sisters associated with Aajeevika Mission and free bicycles to students. Governor Shri Patel stated that the central and state governments are implementing schemes that cater to every section of society.
Ayushman Bharat Yojana has freed poor families from serious health concerns. He said that Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has freed women from smoke. He said, “Sisters associated with Aajeevika Mission are presenting an unprecedented example of economic self-reliance.
Governor Shri Patel described Pradhan Mantri Jan Man Yojana as an important step towards education, health and livelihood promotion of tribal society. He said this scheme is a strong medium to secure future of youth by connecting them with skill development and employment. Governor Shri Patel said that Pradhan Mantri Dharti Aba Yojana is providing basic facilities like housing, drinking water, health and education to tribal families. These schemes are bringing positive changes in tribal life.
