Governor Shri Patel Administers Oath To Justice Shri Sachdeva As Chief Justice

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel administered oath of office to Justice Shri Sanjeev Sachdeva as 29th Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court. The oath-taking ceremony was organised on Thursday in the Sandipani Auditorium of Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Devda was also present.

Governor Shri Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devda extended congratulations and best wishes to newly-appointed Chief Justice Shri Sachdeva after the oath ceremony.

The oath-taking programme was conducted by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain. He read out the notification of appointment of Justice Shri Sanjeev Sachdeva as Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court by the President.

Present at the oath ceremony were Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Smt. Krishna Gaur, Leader of Opposition Shri Umang Singhar, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, former Governor of Haryana Shri Kaptaan Singh Solanki, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Kishan Suryavanshi, Lokayukta Shri Satyendra Kumar Singh, Chief Information Commissioner Shri Vijay Yadav, Member of Human Rights Commission Shri Rajeev Tandon, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor Shri K.C. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration, Shri Sanjay Shukla, Director General of Police Shri Kailash Makwana, Registrar General of Madhya Pradesh High Court Shri Dharminder Singh, Advocate General Shri Prashant Singh, judges of High Court, members of district court and bar, office-bearers of various commissions, public representatives, and senior officers of the government and administration.
