Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the government is working on a comprehensive roadmap for overall development, with a strong focus on the development of sports. Both sports and athletes are top priorities, and the government is taking all necessary steps to support and encourage players. Speaking at the Pankh Sports Achievement Award-2025, organized by a private media group at Jehanuma Palace on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized the significance of International Women’s Day, recognizing it as a day dedicated to celebrating women. He expressed the government’s pride in honouring state and national-level sports talents who have brought glory to the state. The event was attended by Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi Nomadic Welfare, Smt. Krishna Gaur, CMD of Bansal Group Shri Sunil Bansal, along with other dignitaries, athletes, and their sponsors (Pankhs).

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav shared the story of Lord Krishna's birth, emphasizing that Krishna was born to highlight the importance of social concern. Through his remarkable personality, he awakened social consciousness. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the support extended by society to emerging athletes is a true reflection of our social vibrancy. He also praised the organizers for hosting such a significant and commendable event.
