Jammu, Apr 26 (Reporter) Erstwhile ‘Prinec of Wales’ College commonly known as Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College is all set to host International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multidisciplinary Research (ICETMR-2025) on the theme, “Building a Sustainable Future through Integrated Research”, likely in the month of May at Jammu. “The stage is set for the International Conference to be organised on the theme, “Building a Sustainable Future through Integrated Research”, likely in the month of May,” said an official. He said that the final dates shall be announced very soon adding that the conference is to be held through Hybrid Mode (Online and Offline). Further sharing the details, the official stated that Sakina Itoo, Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Health, School Education, Higher Education and Social Welfare Departments shall be the chief patron of the conference while Shantmanu, Financial Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, J&K, shall be the Patron. Meanwhile Prof. KS Chandrasekar, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University, Jammu, Prof. Sheikh Ajaz Bashir, Director Colleges, Government Higher, Education Department J&K, are the Co-Patrons, Conference Chair is Prof. Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal GGM Science College Jammu, Dr. Vandana Khajuria is the Coordinator, Dr. Parshotam Singh Manhas is the Convener cum Organizing Secretary while Dr. Ajay Singh Dadwal, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Dr Bandhan Sharma and Dr. Pawan Kumar are the Co-Organizing Secretaries. The host college has also announced an Advisory Committee and Internal Advisory Committee for the smooth conduct of the international event. The official said that Prof. Rajnikant, Prof. Susheel K. Sharma (Both from Jammu University), Prof. Ankur Gupta, Director MIET, Prof. Sandeep Kour Central University Punjab, Dr. Naveed Qazi, IIIM Jammu, Dr. Baljeet Seniwal from US, Dr. Anwesha Borthakur from Belgium and Dr Umar Muhammad Modibbo from Nigeria are among the invited speakers in the conference. The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Multi-Disciplinary Research (ICETMR-2025) notably provides a common platform for scholars, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines to explore and discuss latest advancements, innovations, and challenges in multidisciplinary research. “The conference aspires to contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of new frontiers in research and practices,” he said.
