Gehlot says govt neglecting sanitation workers

Jaipur, May 27 (Reporter) Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday accused the BJP-ruled Bhajanlal government in Rajasthan of neglecting sanitation workers, citing 11 deaths in the past 10 days while cleaning septic tanks and drains across the state. In a social media post, Gehlot said that such deaths have taken place in Deeg, Bikaner, and Jaipur areas of the state. "It seems the state government is not paying attention to safai karmis," he said.
