Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reiterated the government's commitment to safeguarding cows and bovines across the state, promising increased funds for the efficient operation of cow shelters. He emphasized ongoing discussions to enhance cow management strategies and pledged the utilization of modern equipment to tackle encroachments on Charnoi land, provide prompt treatment for cows involved in accidents every 50 kilometers, and prevent cattle from obstructing roads. Subsidies for fodder-cutting equipment and support for Panchayats via the Cow Promotion Board were also assured. Additionally, funding for cow shelters would be raised from Rs 20 to Rs 40 per cow, with efforts to complete unfinished shelters and construct new ones. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav made these remarks during the concluding session of the Stakeholder Workshop on Better Management of Cow Shelters in Madhya Pradesh - Gauraksha Samvad at the Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium.
